Introducing Training V2: A New and Improved Way to Train your Bixby Capsules

Training V2 has made training for Bixby easier than ever before! The first thing to note is where to find it. You can access Training V2 from the root directory of your project.

This screen shows a summary of all the training examples you have in your capsule and your targets. Click on one of them to dive into Training V2.

Once you’re in training V2, the main area has all your training examples. Your training examples are now lazily loaded! Say goodbye to tabbing through 5 training examples at a time.

To create a training example, just click on the Add button. Some of the major updates when it comes to creating training examples are:
  • A much improved UI
  • In line utterance editing
  • Annotations summary on the right
  • Ability to delete annotations quickly on the right
  • Running the training on the simulator without saving the training first
  • Summary of the Roles and Flags on right

Another powerful feature is the Status bar on the right.

You can simply click on any of the elements to immediately sort your training examples by what you clicked on. For example, clicking on Input under Goals shows just the 2 training examples with Input as the goal.

Another really cool feature is the ability to select all the currently filtered training examples.

This also allows you to edit a bunch of training examples at once! Something that was impossible to do in Training V1.

Anyway, those are but a few of the QoL updates that Training V2 has brought to Bixby development. We hope you enjoy the improved functionality of Training V2!
